1985 Chevy Truck Replaced thermostat leaks.

Changed out the thermostat and gasket. I was instructed to grease the gasket.

Are there any secrets to sealing the thermostat?

Make sure both mating surfaces are clean, also make sure the bolts are tightening properly.

RTV sealant does wonders in a tight spot!
