1985 Chevy Truck Two Wheel Drive Automatic 20,000 miles

I have been haveing problems from the start on this truck. But this problem arose a few days ago I just put a new starter on my pic up. When I went to start it nouthing in the cab will work. My lights horn locks windows nouthing. All of the battery connections are good. Im only fifteen and I dont know much about these kind of things

You put a new starter on? check there first for wires that are disconnected or in the wrong place. Also one of the wires may have burnt up. there are what's called fusible links on the wires. they are smaller wires connected to larger ones and they burn up it's like a giant fuse so the rest of the truck won't burn. the diagram i'm sending shows the layout, check by the accessory contact too it should be easy to find. Also the purple wire should be on the "S" side of the solenoiod.
