1981chevy stepside wont start

The battery is fully charged, I turn the key all lights work fine but when I turn to the start position nothing happens. Is my starter bad?

Had that problem while driving everything went out, check your ground strap from motor to firewall, thanks for your response on my question

Check the fusable link and switch on the steering colum, my '78 chev p.U. Did the same thing to me.
