1981 Chevy Truck vacuum leak

I have 81 chevy pick up I have already rebuilt the rochester carb put all the gaskets check all the area vac hoses spraying carb cleaner but the carb still makes a terriblre hissing sound and thetruck has a terrible miss please help

Did you check the vacuum hose that goes from the intake to the brake booster?

No I didnt is there a certain procedure to do this if so can you tell me what should be done.
