Electrical problem
2001 Chevy Tracker 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

driving home a coule of times lost power some, when use turn signal radio went static. When got back in it would not start, tried to jump but when hooking cables up it sparked and then the neg on other vechicle started to smoke. Had altenator checked was good. Charged battery and car would turn over but not start. Ever time turn key the IG fuse blows with a spark. Disconnected the alt, starter, fuel pump and still blows. Now turn key and get nothing. Its like theres no battery though it is there and good.

WOW this sounds pretty bad but let's see if we can isolate this prob. You should have some fused links on the starter or near the batt check these and make sure they have power on both sides

unplug the coils and see if still blows fuse.
Unplug a/c heater motor turn sig switch radio anything that normally comes on with key ecm as well
