Won't turn over

2004 Tahoe 54800 4.8 I tried to start one morning and it just wouldn't start. After a couple of tries it starts up and runs fine.A mechanic said it was a bad fuel pump and installed one and it worked fine, but the next morning it was the same thing.I get electrical power but the engine just won't start, what could be the problem?

Your subject said wont turn over, but you also said it wont start, if you had it checked out by a mechanic and r&r fuel pump, have you checked fuel filters, fuel pressure, and regulator. Also have you checked for any engine codes (OBD 2 scanner). So If it cranks over, check for fuel pressure and engine codes first.
