My tahoe's battery drains if I don't drive my car every day. I've narrowed it down to the fact that my speakers make the slightest white noise (have to put my ear to the speakers to hear), so the amp isn't turning off the speakers. When I unplug the harness from the back of the amp; the problem goes away. Could I have a faulty amp or should I do a little more investigation into the wiring or other components?

Could it be a switch/relay in the amp itself, ground, or?

MY RPO code is U2K. I have the Bose factory system.

Thanks in advance!

I took the amp out and saw that someone has spilt a drink in the center console drink holders. There is very little amount (but still present) some sticky stuff on the board. Looks like the board got fried. I'm gonna go ahead and get a new amp and post results
