2002 Chevy Tahoe Rain leaking into CAB

Rain leaks into the cab on the passenger side and the carpet gets wet.

What could be the source of the leak?

How to fix without spending a fortune at the dealer.

Most dealers contacted have not tried to fix this type of problem.

Water leaks are certainly an area of particular expertise.

The drain for the wiper transmission area may be plugged from leaves and debris, the windsheild may be leaking as well.
