Transmission problem
2002 Chevy Tahoe Four Wheel Drive Automatic

when im driving the truck and I get up to about 40 or 45 mph in speed I dont feel the the gear change but I did feel it at 15 and 30 or somewhere around there. My question is does that mean I need a whole new trans. And what can I do to eleminate different things. Also is there a fuse or something I can check before I purchase new trans or pay for expensive repairs. Do you have any sugestions on things I can do to fix my vehicle

Less stress on the trans at 45+.
Have you checked your trans fluid?
See if its at the correct level and if its dirty or not?
Touch the drip stick with your fingers.
Feel it and smell if it looks burnt.

Keep break on and put it in reverse then drive,
then back to after a second reverse.
If you dont feel it hitting
hard, or the whole truck shifting. I wouldnt
worry about it too much until it needs to be.
