2001 Chevy Tahoe 2001 Chevy Tahoe cranks but will not start

I have a 2001 Chevy Tahoe, 5.3l. Lately I have had a problem with it not wanting to start. I will shut it off and then go to start it again and all it will do is crank. I replaced my fuel pump less than a year ago with a Delphi from the dealer. Sometimes if you let the truck sit for a few hours, it would fire right up no problems and would run fine. Today, it just will not fire up. What problems have these had with the Passlock security system?

Chances are spark or fuel is missing to the engine. Here is a how to for checking them. Let me know what you find.
