My intake manifold was being replaced and the shop got a piece of metal into the #7 piston and beat it up pretty bad. They are going to replace the bad piston. Is that OK. I thought all pistons, etc. Had to replaced at the same time?

Not all pistons have to be replaced, but when they replace the one piston you have to check the cylinder wall, if the metal scraped the wall to deep the block will be junk. Have them check the cylinder wall if there are no scratches or light scratches you need to hone the cylinder wall. Post back with any other questions.
