1999 Tahoe Transmission

I have a error code PO753 on the transmisssion. I have 165000 on the engine. It is a 5.7 engine size.
I have a transmission place to rebuild the transmission. I am being told that the selinodes are all ok. He is suggesting to install a relay off the the sensor plug.

The problem is that the engine light come on after about 1/4 of a mile.

Has anyone hear of this type of fix.

Thanks but all the solenoids were changed twice. Solenoid 1 & 2, I also rode in the car with the snap on tool to see the error code. Do you know about adding a rely on the transmission cable?
