i want to reset my computer, I don't have a scan tool and can't afford one. Can I push a button on my computer?

Go to autozone. They will scan your computer and clear the trouble codes for free.
If you need the PCM flashed, that is a whole different operation that will require more than just a scan tool.
Just disconnecting the battery wont work, the computer stores the codes.

Pull off the neg battery termanial wait twenty min, put back on, neg termanial----computer will reboot
