1999 Chevy Tahoe Emissions diagnostic codes and repair

Hi,
I have a 1999 Chevy Tahoe.
I just failed my emissions test and had the following codes given to me by the mechanic:

P0420, P0430, P0442

He suggested that the repair may be simple and suggested that I ask on a forum. Can you tell me if there is an easy fix for this, or what kind of fix is required?

No easy fix.420 and 430 are catalyst efficiency codes, the converters are worn out. 442 is small leak evap system for emissions. It may need testing on a smoke machine. Dealer has the equiptment for these tests.
