1997 Chevy Tahoe V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 141k miles

AC DOES NOT WORK,I KNOW I NEED A RECHARGE
BUT NOTHING COMES OUT REGULAR VENTS,SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT JUST CAME ON,I WAS TOLD THE WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE VACUUM SYSTEM IT REDIRECTS THE AIR FLOW AUTOMATIC,I THINK EGR VALVE HAS BURNED VACUUM HOSE,DO YOU HAVE A PICTURE DIAGRAM OF WHERE THE HOSE IS,AND WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE.OR CAN YOU TELL ME WHERE IT IS?PLEASE I NEED AC BAD.

which engine size? diesel , gasoline 6.5L, 5.0L etc...?
