Disconnect neg battery cable.Remove glove box and lower kick panel.Unplug ECM is necessary, unplug blower motor, remove cover and cooling tube.It should have about 4-5 7mm or 8mm screws holding it in

I can not remove the blower motor cover so I can replace the motor. I can pull it back but not far enough to get to the screws on top holding the motor. The cover go up past the motor about 6 more inches and goes back about four more inches. Do I need to take the dash out?

Did you ever get an answer on how to remove the blower motor cover (and replace the blower motor). I'm trying to do the same thing.
