I have priced the compressor, dryer, orifice tube, o-ring and gasket kit. I do not have the machine to pull a vacuum on the vehicle. Would it be cheaper to install all these parts my self and have a shop put freon in it or would I be better to just let them do it all?

be cheaper to do it yourself. but since you cant put it under a vaccum youll have air in it and your dryer would soak up mositure so fast it would be faulty before you put it on.
