SHOULD HEAD BOLTS BE REPLACED WHEN CHANGING HEADGASKETS ? AND WHY

Hi there, Most modern cars use what is called torque to yield head bolts, this means that the head blots stretch when torqued down, far more than conventional bolts do, often the settings are in deg of rotation rather than an actual torque setting, there's also a measurement that can be taken of actual bolt length and if they are still with in specs you can re use them, but new bolts are now quite cheap and i never do a head with out replacing these bolts, it's just a few extra $$ for piece of mind of a job that is done correctly.
