Shaking in my Suburban

I just bought a 1994 Chevy Suburban with a 7.4l 454 4wd. It shook a lot at higer speeds, then smoothed out a litte above 70. I just had my tires balanced and I just replaced my rear shocks because I noticed the rear wheels bouncing a lot. I know the previous owner towed an rv with it mostly. I am trying to figure out what could cause the vibration. After replacing the rear shocks, the bouncing on the back tires has eased only a little. Could it be the springs need replacing? Do springs even cause wheel vibration and hop? Any assistance would be appreciated, before I go spending a ton of money I don't have.

Check the front steering stabilizer bar. It looks like a shock and keeps the front from vibrating, especially on 4 wheel drive

Check your universal joints. If it's excessive in 4wd, then those would be the focus of your attention.

If you have a chance raise the rear of the vehicle and check the rear spring bushings and connections. With the rear end up off the ground get a friend and use a long pry bar or something that you can put under tire to move it up and down, that way you can check for anything that is worn. How is the truck tracking. What I mean is the truck driving straight. Have seen a missing bushing and when the gas was stepped on the rear would shift a little to one side or another.
