I have 1997 Chevy Suburban with 166,000 miles 5.7 litre V8 2WD. I have to add coolant each time I service the vehicle at the 3,000 mile interval. The radiator was replaced approxiamately 9,000 miles ago, I also replace the thermostat and gasket and flushed the system.I have noticed a pinging and lose of gas mileage. The ping sensor has been replaced as well. What can I do pinpoint the loss?

You need to have the intake manafold checked out, since you didnt say if you are seeing antifreeze under the suburban, and with the loss of gasmil, it would be where I would start.
