We replaced our trany with a new one a year ago and computor code comes up that there is a slip still. The other thing is on the bottom near front a whistling type noise is going on when the subeberan is warmed up and in park but when going faster you can hear the noise until you slow down again could this be the torqu converter or somthing else.

Could be the front pump ot torque converter. If the first trans had an internal faliure, the trans cooler needs to be flushed at minimum, possibly even replaced. Any left over debris will take out the new trans. Was this done at the dealer or an independent shop?
