Remove the engine air cleaner assembly.
Remove the drive belt. Disconnect the power steering pressure hose from the steering gear.
WARNING:The electrical power to the air suspension system must be shut off prior to hoisting, jacking or towing an air suspension vehicle. This can be accomplished by turning off the air suspension switch located in the right kick panel area. Failure to do so can result in unexpected inflation or deflation of the air springs, which can result in shifting of the vehicle during these operations.

Raise the vehicle.
On 4WD vehicles, rthe six bolts. Remove the skid plate..
Disconnect the power steering reservoir pump hose from the power steering pump. Drain the power steering fluid reservoir.
Remove the upper power steering pump bolts.

NOTE:Early build 4.6L and 5.4L engines may have two lower power steering pump bolts; the second bolt may be discarded upon removal of the power steering pump.

Remove the lower power steering pump bolt and remove the power steering pump.
NOTE:Secure the power steering pump in a vise.

Loosen the power steering pressure hose fitting. Remove the power steering pressure hose.

Install the power steering seal by stretching the seal over the Seal Replacer (D90P-3517-A) until it is large enough to slip over the tube nut.
Position the power steering pressure hose into the pump. Tighten the pressure hose fitting to specification.
Position the power steering pump and loosely install the power steering pump bolts.
Tighten the power steering pump upper and lower bolts to specification.
On 4WD vehicles, install the skid plate and tighten the bolts to specification.
Connect the power steering reservoir pump hose to the power steering pump.
NOTE:If equipped with air suspension, reactivate the system by turning on the air suspension switch.

Lower the vehicle.
Connect the power steering pressure hose to the steering gear. Tighten to specification.
Install the drive belt.
Install the engine air cleaner assembly.
Fill and leak check the system
