1993 Chevy Suburban Sputtering / hesitance / loss of power

I have the 7.4L 454 engine, and while driving the truck sputters and hesitates, a huge loss in power. Fuel Pump is fairly new, the only other thing I can think of is the fuel filter. Could there be other things I can check?
