1993 Chevy Suburban problems with engine

I just had a new motor, transmition, diff, and rear end installed 2 months ago. Now the speedo acts like a tach and when the speedo goes crazy the engine starts sputttering real bad I have had it in the shop several times and they cant find the problem. It seems to get worse if you turn the cruse control on. I replaced the speed sensor and now the only time I have this problem is when I try to use the cruse control. When I engage the cruse control the sppedo goes grazy

Have them check the vehicle speed sensor, I feel it may be faulty

Hi
Most likely a faulty Vehicle Speed Sensor loacted on left side Trans near tail shaft.
