1989 Chevy Suburban V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi I have an 89 suburban 3/4 ton that had a 454 which ceased up. Old trans was a turbo 400. I am installing a 350 with a 4L80E trans out of a 1991 3/4 ton suburban, but the engine mounts are not lining up. Looks like it needs to go back about 2 inches more, but it will not, we placed the trans to the u-joint and driveshaft where it is supposed to be, but looking at the mounts it needs to go back more. Someone said to swap the engine mounts from the 454 to the 350 but they are exactly the same. Any Ideas? Thank you in advance

If you are talking about the amount on the frame they are the same, it's the amount from the engine that are different, the ones that are held on with three bolts to block you will have to replace those. I can't remember but I think there is a right and a left make sure you have them on correctly or you will be 2 inches short
