OK , IF THE BULBS ARE KNOWN GOOD , CHECK ALL FUSES , THERE ARE SOME UNDER THE HOOD FOR THE TRAILER LIGHTS , BUT IF ALL CHECKS OUT ,YOU HAVE A THIRD LIGHT AND IT OPERATES SO THAT IS LEADING ME TO BELIEVE THERE IS A BAD GROUND OR HOT WIRE SHORTED , THERE IS PRETTY MUCH ONE WIRE THAT CONTROLS EVERYTHING , PULL BOTH REAR BULB SOCKETS OUT WHERE YOU CAN GET TO THEM AND CHECK THE WIRES TO THE SOCKET , YOU WILL FIND ONE BROWN WIRE ON EACH , THIS IS THE KEY WIRE , IT GOES UP THE TRUCK SOMETIMES LEFT SOMETIMES RIGHT SIDE TO A JUNCTION BLOCK FOR THE REAR LIGHTS CHECK THE BROWN FOR POWER IN AND OUT OF THE JUNCTION BLOCK AND LET ME KNWO WHAT HAPPENS , OH AND MAKE SURE THE HARNESS FOR YOU TRAILER ISN'T SHORTING
CHECK POWER THERE
