Electrical problem
2005 Chevy Silverado V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 64,000 miles

I am getting a p0449 engine code
evap vent vlv/ sol malf. Every thing I have read says to clean ( blow out sol. )Check plug conection or to change solenoid.

My question is where is the solenoid.

dont bother to blow it out,it dosent fix anything, just replace it.there is an updated kit that relocates the filter.here is the Service Kit P/N 19152349.

Sorry I should have been a little clearer on my info, the one on the left is the vent solenoid and the one on the right is the charcoal canister. Replace and relocate the vent solenoid.
