Electrical problem
2004 Chevy Silverado

Hi-
The dome light in the back portion of the cab used to come on when the doors opened, but it no longer does...the light functions if turned on manually, and the front dome lights still come on when the doors are opened. Is this a fuse issue, and if so, which darn fuse controls it?

Sounds like you hit the button that controls turning off your day time running lights, (also controls interior dome light) Its located right under your light switch try pressing it with the door open until the dome light comes back on.

Thanks cattledog (I have one of those!).

The front dome lights come on when the door is opened. It is only the crew cab ones that are not functioning any longer.
