2003 Chevy Silverado removing rear rotors

Once I get calipers off do I have to just beat off the rotors or is there another step

Make sure that the little thin washer if still on there is removed the work the rotors back and forth with a rubber mallet or a dead blow hammer, also when u take the calipers off hang them up with a string or wire because if you dont you run the risk of damaging the brake lines.
