How do I change the cabin air filter on my 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD ? I took the shroud off from under the dash but I can't see any access to a filter box. My HVAC fan is not blowing in the low #1 setting and I was told it was because the filter must be clogged. My brother had the same problem on his 2000 GMC 1500 and when he replaced the filter it worked fine. I also purchased the filter and it seems quite large (about 8x10). Could the parts store have given me the wrong part?

Your truck does not have a cabin filter. So you need a blower motor resistor.
