2002 Chevy Silverado check engine soon light code indicate

Periodically my check engine soon light will come on, the code indicates too lean on both banks. The fuel filter has been changed the air flow sensor has been cleaned. The fuel pressure reads good. It also idles rough, like there is a miss. How can I identify exactly what is causing the problem?

First buy 1 o2 sensor and replace it and see if the code stops on that bank.

If it was misfiring you would get a p030* code.

Vs the p0174 p0171 code you are getting.
