Not sure what the problem is on my truck. I had a random cylinder misfire code, so I replaced the plugs, wires, cap/rotor. That didn't fix it so I replaced the actual distributor. Still not fixed. The truck runs fine at lower speeds but when I get on the highway and accelerate it runs really loudly and won't get up past about 65 mph. Check engine light starts flashing at higher speeds. I thought for sure the tune-up would take care of it but no such luck. Any ideas?

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on.

Yeah I did that, the code is still coming up as a random cylinder misfire. The same as it was when everything first started.

P0300 is normally caused by vacuum leaks and contaminated fuel-

Start by checking all the vacuum hoses and check the fuel pressure if it within specs -also try running Seafoam thru the fuel system and see what happens
