2000 Chevy Silverado fuel pump not runing

I CHECKED FUSES THEY ARE GOOD CHECKED FOR POWER TO WHERE IT CONNECTS WITH FUEL PUMP GETTING POWER BUT PUMP MAKES NO NOISE OR TRUCK WILL NOT START ONLY WITH STARTING FLUID IN AIR CLEANER ALSO REPLACED FUEL PUMP WHAT CAN IT BE?

Okay, last component would be the fuel pump oil pressure switch (back-up circuit). This would only cause the fuel pump to not run if the fuel pump relay was bad as well though. There must be a faulty connection or circuit in the wiring of the fuel pump.
