The problem started with a shaky steering wheel but brakes were good. Now when I turn to the left there is a noise like something is grinding or rubbing. The slower I go the slower the noise is the faster I go the faster the noise is. The noise is coming from the passenger side wheel area.

Hi:
It sounds like a warped rotor is causing the vibration, and worn brake pads are cutting into the rotor. Most likely you need both brakes and rotors.

Let me know if you have other questions.
