i have a 1999 chevy silverado 1500 my motor went and I am wanting to swap and put a 2500 duramax motor is it possible

Anything is possible, but it will cost you more than the truck is worth. Not only must you change the engine, but the fuel tank - fuel lines - computer - wiring harness, exhaust system, along with many incidentals, must be changed.
