1997 Chevy Silverado V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 160K miles

I have a 97 Chevy Silverado Trucn 1500, well the past few days I have a constant humming noise from the gas tank. Pretty sure it is my fuel pump what can I do to resolve this noise, getting pretty loud and noticeable? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Replace the fuel filter, if that dont stop it, replace the fuel pump.
