The truck will not start, but if you take the breather off, and use a starter fluid or pour gas in it, it will start just fine, and continue to run. I'm stuck between it needing a fuel pump, or having bad injectors. I'm not sure of any signs I may be overlooking here. Could there be any other signs or processes to take to decide which part I would need?

Welcome to the forum, my info shows you have that spider fuel system, it is noted for problems, sometimes the fuel poppets stick. I wouldn't suspect the pump without using a fuel pressure gage on it. Even then, I'd check for good voltage and ground at the pump. Key on voltage at the pump and engine running voltage at the pump are two different things. I'd check fuel pressure key on, no crank, and engine running.
