Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1993 Chevy Silverado V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic
i got a 93 chevy 2500 4x4 I got a boot torn on a cv joint its starting to grind but I cant afford a mechanic and want to do it myself how would I go about changing a boot and what size nut would I need for the truck
First, if this is the first time you have tried this, there are easier vehicles you could have worked on, second, which side is no good? Third, if it's clicking the joint or entire axle needs to be replaced.2500 requires special tool to seperate the ball joints. Let me know which side so I can post up the right stuff for you.

It is the right side I know it would be easier to use a tie rod end puller so it dont ruin the ball joints but gettin the rest I have no idea
