When the brake pedal is pushed a hissing sound comes from the pushing rod inside the cabin, the brakes do not work properly, looks like an air leak from a rubber seal, How can this be fix? Can I get a repair kit or need to replace the unit?

Hi there,

It will be quicker and easier to replace the brake booster as a unit, you should be able to gt a re-co change over unit, check with your local parts retailer.

That hissing noise would indicate a vacuum leak within the brake booster and would require replacing it.
