I recently was having transmission problems and in the process of dropping it I had to remove the front driveshaft. I removed the bolts and straps from the differential flange and the bolts from the transfer case, but I can't get the rear half of the driveshaft to push forward enough to separate it from the transfer case flange. I have some separation, but when I work my way to the other side it just tightens back up on the other side. Do you have any reccomendations to get the driveshaft forward off of the transfer case?[/Quote]

If im not mistaking the dravshaft kinda slides together. So you will need to pry between the transfercase ans the shaft with a sturdy pry bar dont worry you wont break or mess it up. But you will need to prolly re lube the shaft as it is a two peice shaft.
