1990 Chevy Silverado V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have seen 10,000 post for actuators and not a single bit of useful knowlage if the actuator is not the problem. Is there anyone out there with this information? The tranfer case is good! The actuator is good! Still the front axles do not engage. Thow me a bone here and let me in on the secret I'm dying here!

I have the same problem, but the problem is in the front differential. The actuator is working but whatever it pushes against is broken.
