What size ring gear is in a 1985 chevy pickup with a 12 bolt rear end?

A stock 1985 Chevrolet 1/2 ton didnt come with a 12 bolt rearend. So it looks like youre up against the same problems I was with my 1984.

Best I remember, a 10 bolt is 8 1/2 inches and a 12 bolt is 9 inches. But I could be wrong. I also seem to remember that the number of bolts around the case are the same number of bolts holding the ring gear to the carrier.
