I have a 1995 s-10 pickup and I bought a brand new fuel pump, sending unit, and fuel tank and it will not start. I tested the fuel pump and it works when I touched it to battery positive post and if I leave it their it will run and I can crank it up. But otherwise when turning on the key I can not hear the fuel pump running and it will not start what can be the problem?

Check the fuses, check the fuel pump relay

Did you check to make sure you reattached the ground wire?
