2003 Chevy S-10

My truck is leaking tranny fluid on the passanger side onto my exaust pipe and I dont know where its coming from it may be coming from the overflow someone has told me that there is a seal inbetwene my tranny and transfer case that can go bad and cause it to back up but I have no idea any help or thoughts would be greatley appreciated.

I would check tranny cooler lines

Would the lines stop leaking because it started to leak and I thought it was the vacume lines so I kept driving and it stoped after about five miles when I got out to check the lines they wernt touchin tranny fluid was every where on the passanger side its been leakin for a while thats the first time it sprayed on my exaust pipe a mechanic told me a couple months ago my tranny was over heating but I dont understand how it could overheat.

Have to have it fixed
it will not stop until out or low on fluid
tranny failure will occur and tranny fluid on the exhaust will cause fire
