Hello I have a 2002 chevy s-10 with a 4.3 its 4 wheel drive, I had a miss in my number two cylinder which was fixed with a quick spark plug and wire replacement, I have also changed the thermostat and clutch fan plus the fuel filter. My problem now is that my truck wants to stall sometimes on take off like its not getting the gas then it seems to take off and like jump and jerk almost taking me out of my seat sometimes. Any suggestions. Signed disappointing chevy.

Engine running rough or misfiring can be cause by the following:

1. Defective spark plug
2. Inadequate spark/coil, defective spark plug wire.
3. Lack of compression
4. False air leakage.
5. Faulty fuel injectors.
6. Insufficient fuel pressure.
7. Contaminated fuel.
8. EGR valve that is leaking.
9. Oxygen sensors.
10. Throttle position sensor.
11. Idle air control valve.
