I'm not familiar with the tail lights at all. How do I replace the tail lights?

Lower the tailgate and there should be screws going through the body into the light casings. Unscrew these and pull the casing out from the body and the connectors come out with a twist and pull or by squeezing the tab and turning. The bulbs will come out with a twist and pull or just pull straight out. If the screws are not hidden by the tailgate, then they are accessed from the outside of the casings through the deep holes. Phillips head screwdriver.
