last time I checked my oil, there was a STRONG
smell of gasoline! I mean, I even took the dipstick
around to all my roomates to sniff and it was very noticable and none of us had a clue as to why. Truck is running fine and all, but it's little worrysome... any thoughts?

Sounds like you maybe getting blowby. Blowby is caused by combustion pressure getting past the piston and into the crankcase. Worn rings or failed piston are normal causes for this. Bad/clogged fuel injectors may also stay open and let gas leak into engine after shut down, but this would cause very bad engine performance.

Hope this helps..
