Open the hood. Look toward the center front of the engine. The thermostat is in the housing that the upper radiator hose is attached to. It is held on with two bolts.
To change it you need to drain the coolant, remove the housing bolts and clean the gasket surface of any dirt and then remove the thermostat. Install the new one and use the new gasket, to make sure it doesn't leak you can apply a THIN coat of sensor safe silicone or permatex. Tighten the bolts down evenly to 15-20 foot pounds. Refill the system with new DexCool and burp it to remove any air. Burping is easy, just park the vehicle so the right front is the highest point (I use a handy bank) then top off the coolant with the engine running. When it gets to operational temperature and the thermostat opens the level will drop some. Top it off again and install the cap. Make sure the reservoir is full to the hot mark. Shut it down and let it cool off. Then repeat the starting and topping off once. That should get all the air out.

Make sure the new thermostat is a 195 degree unit as that is the proper temp.
