My driverside power window sometimes will go half way and stop. It will then not go up or down. I have to wait awhile then I can close it. Sometimes I have to shut the truck off and come back after a few minutes to shut it. This has been getting worse as time goes by. The passanger window works fine. How and what do I replace? Thanks

Motor is starting to fail. Common on the drivers side because it gets used the most. The brushes start to wear and the thermal switch kicks out and the window stops.
You replace the lift motor. On an 01 this isn't that bad. Pull the inner panel and R&R the motor.
