I have heat, but the deflector does not go to the floor. Instead it goes to the defrosters. I've already changed the heater control assy(panel), it still does not work. I have panel, defrost with hot or cold. I cannot find a vacuum diagram. Could the plastic divert-er valve be broken or a defective vacuum line or cycl? Please help. Thanks

Does it go only to defrost? Will the air come out any other area? When you switch from defrost to vent is it switching or is it qalways coming out the same spots?

Check the vacuum source off the engine. Black plastic line that goes through the firewall to the rotator valve and to the engine on the other side. Defrost position is default for no vacuum present at the selector (rotator)valve
